Dan Cone
Dan Cone grew up fishing in the Texas Hill Country and began fly fishing on weekends home from Texas A&M. After graduation (Class of 1999) he took a summer off to fish and paddle on the Llano River and quickly rediscovered the river he had known growing up, this time with a fly rod. He began guiding shortly after returning to the area and has been guiding full time for seven years.
Dan splits his time guiding in Colorado and Texas. He spends his summers guiding for Frying Pan Anglers in Basalt, Colorado on the Frying Pan, Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers and has worked as Head Fishing Guide for Elktrout Lodge. In the fall he returns to Texas to guide in the Hill Country for bass and, as the weather cools, for trout, spending most of the winter on the Guadalupe River.
Dan is the only Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Guide offering trips on the Guadalupe River.

Kevin Stubbs has a wealth of experience guiding in Texas, Colorado and Montana. Kevin floats in an Outcast raft, a specially customized raft for float fishing trips that floats nice and high in skinny water and includes comfortable bow and stern seats for the fishermen.
