The emphasis of these trips will be on learning the river and techniques, so we'll see a lot of river. However, it's tough to be out there seeing fish without throwing a line! The most effective way to do this is to utilize my canoe...that way we cover a lot of water and still have time for some fishing. At the current flows of ~70cfs, and from a boat, you'll see the river like you've never seen it before! Even do some sight casting! For these trips, we'll work together to figure out which stretch would be best for your needs.

A deposit of $125 is required to reserve a date, and is refundable if you cancel the trip at least 14 days in advance, if you cancel less than 14 days in advance but I am able to book another trip for that day, or in the event of unsafe water conditions.

Included in trip: land access fees, 5% local recreation tax (Guadalupe), bag lunch (3/4 day trips), tippet, weights, flies, and any needed equipment, including rods and reels. Things to bring: valid Texas fishing license, waders & wading boots (weather dependant), warm clothes, sunglasses. 5wt rods with floating line is the combination of choice, though a 4 or 6 wt will work fine.
